Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare all required insurance policy documentation as per the guidelines of the company.
• Collects, documents, enters data from and into multiple applications
• Consistently meets or exceeds expectations for departmental standards related to quality, service level, completion of works assigned
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned and to ensure that the tasks assigned are completed and executed efficiently and professionally.
• Work within designated timelines to provide superior customer service to retain our clients, as well as referrals and new business opportunities
• Responsible for processing endorsements and creating insurance documents as needed
• Establish and maintain good coordination relationships with the other departments, carriers and clients
• Support all initiatives as requested, guided by company values, sales culture and business needs
• Understands organizational objectives, supports process improvements and provides feedback to leadership.
• Effectively utilize Insurance and Company systems, following established policies and guidelines to manage and respond to inquiries and issues
• Drafting and reviewing of insurance policies. (Policy drafted by one to be reviewed by another staff of the department)
• Process miscellaneous endorsements, cancellations, changes and renewals.
• Completing all tasks and transactions promptly as required by the superiors and the company
• Assist with department management using strong communication
• Be proficient in telephone communication, including assisting customers over the phone with their immediate needs or assessing those needs and being able to transfer those calls to the appropriate agency employees.
• Desire to learn, participate in various trainings and test about various insurances while maintaining a normal workload at office
• Communicate with brokers, agents and sales staff accordingly
• Execute any other role & responsibility directed by the Management
Working Hours: 8:15AM to 4:15PM (Sundays -Thursdays)
Minimum Qualification & Requirements
• Diploma or GCE Advanced Level
• Previous work experience in the insurance industry or 1 year experience in any relevant business
field will be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi & English
• Self-driven and result oriented
Salary: MVR 10,000 - MVR 12,000 (depending on the qualification and experience)
