An opportunity has arisen for a Speedboat Crew to join our Transport team. The main duties and responsibilities of
this role include:

• Assisting Speedboat Captain administer daily operational requirements of speedboat in accordance with Maritime regulations of Maldives and standards set by Jumeirah Maldives, Olhahali Island.
• Assisting guest embark and disembark from speedboats with safety precautions.
• Handling, loading and offloading guest luggage ensuring they are stored in safely manner on speedboats.
• Seeing to the safety, satisfaction of guests while assisting boat host in providing amenities as required and engaging in entertaining conversations with guests.
• Ensuring all mechanical, electrical, safety and navigational equipment on-board are in perfect condition and the speedboat is well-main tained and always cleaned.
• Assisting Captain or Marine Mechanic in repair and maintenance work of speedboats.

About you

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum High School education with any additional educational certification as an advantage.
• Minimum Coastal Navigation Level 1 certification, with Marine Mechanic certification as an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience within a five-star luxury resort as a boat rew or boat host on a semi-luxury or luxury vessel.
• Excellent attention to detail, preision, and prior knowledge of Customer Service and LQA standards in guest transportation will be an advantage.
• Should be in excellent health and have ability to work under pressure during long and odd hours.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Be willing to adapt to specific brand requirements of the resort and company.
• A positive attitude and excellent team player with flexibility to various job functions.
