We’re looking for enthusiastic and dynamic candidates to join our team at the GOURMET FINE DINE restaurant, MALDIVES

 

Requirements:
•    Certificate/diploma in Culinary Art
•    Having minimum 03 years’ hands on experience as a Sous chef possessing catering experience is an added advantage
•    Possess great cooking skills including having broader knowledge of kitchen
•    Ability to prepare detailed food costing, manage budget and keep accurate records
•    Possess hands on experience in cost saving and controlling food cost without compromising quality and having commercial awareness and profit maximizing motive
•    Ability to work under pressure
•    Must be creative and always experiment and develop creative and innovative recipes, menus and interesting food presentation
•    Must pay attention to taste and presentation to create meals that customers will enjoy and never compromise on quality
•    Ability to keep & maintain health & safety and hygiene & sanitary practice in good order  
•    Ability to work long shifts overseeing the preparation and serving of meals
•    Ability to motivate kitchen staff and develop cooperative working relationships
•    Possess time management skills to ensure efficiency in meal preparation and service
•    Ability to inspire staff and help them develop
•    Spend more time in the restaurant and work with passion
•    Must be a good leader and at the same time a good team member
•    Proficient in MS Excel and Word
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English
