Job Title: Senior Assistant Accountant

Working Hours: Sunday – Thursday 09am to 04pm
Saturday 10am to 02pm

Responsibilities and duties:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the department, including invoicing customers, payments, documentation, and filing, etc.
- Carry out reconciliations of bank account, general ledger, and sub-ledger. Maintain general ledger at account level.
- Prepare period end journals for prepayments, accruals, depreciation, etc.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts finalization.
- Work with Chief Accountant and other relevant staff to complete the internal, external and MIRA Audits.
- Ensure compliance with MIRA and other regulatory bodies.
- Other ad hoc office related works

Essential skills and qualifications required:

- Minimum: Pass in ACCA applied skills level (degree level) or higher (Equivalent qualifications accepted)
- Minimum 2-year work experience in the field.
- Knowledge of SAP, QuickBooks or other such software will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of double entry bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good organizational skills & ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Willing to commit minimum 2 years.
