An opportunity has arisen for Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Clear understanding of resort's business plan and sales strategy for the local market that ensures attainment of company sales goals, revenue targets and profitability.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, sales activities and results
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets and increase local market share
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales activities, and weekly reporting.
- Establish and implement Long and short term departmental goals, objectives, policies and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly Sales Reports.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotional programs to educational trips, press trips, tour operators and travel agents.
- Conducts daily sales calls, arrange and manage FAM and Day visits
- Assist in preparing the yearly sales & marketing reports.
About you
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.
- Experience in Resort or Hotel Industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - other languages will be an advantage (Chinese,
- Arabic, German or Russian)
- Outgoing personality
- Strong organizational and forecasting skills
- Guest oriented
- Should be able to work long hours
- Strong communication skills
