Description

An opportunity has arisen for Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Clear understanding of resort's business plan and sales strategy for the local market that ensures attainment of company sales goals, revenue targets and profitability.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, sales activities and results
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets and increase local market share
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales activities, and weekly reporting.
  • Establish and implement Long and short term departmental goals, objectives, policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Sales Reports.
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotional programs to educational trips, press trips, tour operators and travel agents.
  • Conducts daily sales calls, arrange and manage FAM and Day visits
  • Assist in preparing the yearly sales & marketing reports.

 

About you

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following experience and qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.
  • Experience in Resort or Hotel Industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - other languages will be an advantage (Chinese,
  • Arabic, German or Russian)
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational and forecasting skills
  • Guest oriented
  • Should be able to work long hours
  • Strong communication skills
