Operation Manager will direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. Duties for the OM will be, to include formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Responsibilities
• Work with the executives to determine values and mission, and plan for short- and long-term goals.
• Prepare and analyze, monthly sales report and present to Senior Management.
• Develop cost-effective operational and organizational plans to ensure the development of tactical programs and implementation or operational policies to achieve business goals.
• Establish operational strategies and policies to meet customer service standards.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;monitoring on work results.
• Responsible for the productive deployment of operations budgets and oversight of the company financial and administrative systems in keeping with regulatory and audit guidelines.
• Ensure all shops & Go-downs are well maintained for a smooth operation and meet the operation standards to provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor and ensure the smooth delivery process and the quality of goods.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
• Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
• Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the company.
• Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
• Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
• Ensure employees work productively to develop professionally, follows health and safety regulations.
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, initiating corrective actions.
• Work closely with the managers/supervisors and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right goods, maintaining solid inventory data, and reduce unnecessary purchases.
Requirements
• 4-5 Years Work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree or Masters in Business, Operations Management or related field
Salary Range: Salary Range: 16,000/- to 18,000/- (based on qualification/experience)
Probation period: 3 Months
