Summary:
The overall job for marketing officer is to create awareness of the brand and to communicate with the target audience through social media platforms and other communication channels. The marketing officer is responsible to run all the promotional activities in liaison with the sales team and to support in providing all the promotional items required by the sales team. He/she is responsible to present ideas to promote the brand. Moreover, Marketing officer is also responsible for all the PR related activities as well.
Responsibilities and Tasks
• Analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition and reporting to Marketing Manager
• Devising and presenting ideas and strategies to the management in terms of marketing and promoting the products.
• Conduct promotional activities by analyzing the market and competition and work in line with developing successful advertising campaigns.
• Working in line with the sales team for updates on sales.
• Organizing events and product exhibitions when new products are launched and plan events that the company organizes to its customers, stakeholders.
• Managing campaigns on social media (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc.)
• Work along with the company’s marketing consultants in building and developing Ads, TVC’s
• Communications with the mass media/ public by compiling newsletters, press releases and work towards publishing it on the news and news channels.
• Responsible for all the company’s brand development and CSR’s activities
• Proof read all the advertising documents (flyers, billboards, social media posts) prior publishing.
