DIRECTOR OF NURSING

General Requirements 
•    Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Nursing
•    Unencumbered license or registration from home country
•    Minimum 5 years experience as Director or Chief Nursing Officer in a super specialty hospital with minimum 250 beds
•    Wide experience in Nursing Administration in a hospital environment with JCI accreditation
•    Ability to work in cordial relationship with diverse culture and nationalities

Job Specification
•    Responsible for providing Clinical, Managerial and Educational Resources necessary for the provision of Excellence in Nursing Services in accordance with established professional standards and overall mission of the hospital.
•    Maintain compliance with nursing practices, infection control practices as established and adopted by the hospital in line with JCI standards
•    Responsible for a planned systematic approach to provide patient centered care in the Wards, Outpatient Department, OT, Day Care Surgery, ICU, Endoscopy and Haemodialysis units
•    Ensure high quality nursing care
•    Achieve the successful implementation of policies and procedure to ensure agreed standards of care are practiced in relation to statutory requirement
•    Plan staffing and Bed Projection in accordance with the Business Plan and Expansion Programs
•    Reviews and maintains the annual budget to ensure that financial targets and departmental action plans are met in line with the hospital’s business plans and visions
