• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in related field

Job Specification
• Assist Laboratory Technologists in the daily laboratory processes and procedures
• Transport of laboratory specimen and goods within the hospital and outside the hospital
• Receive, guide, and assist laboratory patients queue at Phlebotomy section
• Take incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
• Assist with carrying laboratory stock from the Main Store, and sorting every item accordingly in the laboratory store
• Keep laboratory area tidy and straight, and ensure all supplies are sufficiently replenished
• Maintain par levels of stock in Phlebotomy area and other sections
• Ensure copies of all forms used for Phlebotomy and Blood Banking are kept available at all times
• Assist in transporting laboratory samples to other Labs when necessary
• Follow standard and universal safety precautions wherever applicable
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned within the department in a timely manner
