Description

General Requirement

 

  •     Minimum of 6-month experience in technical support.   
  •     Prior experience in handling Laptops/Desktops repair and maintenance  
  •     Analyze and resolve any technical issues related to computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals in all brands.  
  •     Must be available to provide on-site servicing and rectify the major Brands.  
  •     Proper knowledge of Computer Hardware replacement
  •      Resolve problems with Desktop/Laptops component level  
  •     Record, upgrade, and replace hardware and software.
  •     Offer technical support for activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems  
  •     Install and reinstall Latest Operating Systems, Latest software packages, and Drivers/Firmware updates.
  •     Be able to recognize, research, isolate, resolve, and follow-up on Desktop/Laptop Problems
  •     Handle all administrative aspects within the time limit  
  •     Must be able to solve problems, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, understand and interpret technical terms  
  •     Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
  •     Knowledge of Data Backup & Restore Process.
  •     Knowledge of computer networks and Installation will be an advantage
  •     Enjoy working in a team environment and on a shift basis.  


Duties and Responsibilities

 

  •     Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  •     Research current and potential resources and services to reach new heights in the market and to increase the revenue
  •     Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  •     Test and adjusts items to ensure that they are in optimal working order.
  •     Plan deadlines for the job and make sure that the job is running on time and is able to meet the deadlines 
  •     Instruct customers on the safe handling of items
  •     Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  •     Communicate clearly with customers regarding the item in question and explaining the problem and solution 
  •     Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  •     Offer technical support, off-site or via phone if and when necessary
  •     Keep accurate records of the job 
  •     Assist counter staff in assisting customers on the issue 
  •     Coordinate with the superiors to find ways to improve the services offered and to maximize the profit 
  •     Perform other related duties as required
