We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and dedicated individual to join our Biomedical Engineering team  

Responsibilities 
•    Thorough knowledge of electronic theory, including advanced digital systems.
•    Ability to troubleshoot and repair failures in Lab equipment.  
•    Thorough knowledge of sophisticated electronic test equipment and applications. 
•    Knowledge of physiological and medical terminology. 
•    Ability to understand and follow established preventive maintenance procedures. 
•    Ability to maintain reports utilising a computerised maintenance management system  
•    Basic knowledge of IT (Information Technology) terminology, setup, and 
•    Ability to diagnose and resolve problems over the telephone using unskilled nontechnical or clinical staff for assistance
•    Conduct training for staff operating the equipment and systems.
•    Evaluate biomedical equipment to determine its safety and efficiency of the equipment.
•    Must be able to Install biomedical equipment and systems whenever required in remote facilities. Repair technical problems of devices.
•    Should be able to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and represent Ortho Clinical Diagnostics VITROS systems in the Maldives.
•    Coordinate and participate in special projects as assigned, such as new equipment acquisition purchase planning, development of bid specifications, analysis of vendor proposals, installation planning, acceptance testing, renovations, equipment upgrades, and equipment disposal.

General Requirements 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in the field.
•    Good knowledge of both written and spoken English 
•    Having a Customer-Oriented Attitude
•    Excellent Negotiation skills
•    Excellent Persuasion skills 
•    Flexible thinking and ability to adapt to change
•    Strong ability to work on Biomedical Engineering tasks
•    Able to work flexible hours and must be able to work as an excellent team player
•    Must be able to Travel to various islands throughout the Maldives.
