Qualifications and requirements :
• Meticulous, pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn

• Able to work independently and as a team
• Dynamic, committed, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer literate and well versed in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in BOTH written and spoken English and Dhivehi
• Should be punctual, flexible and highly motivated
Previous work experience in the shipping/freight forwarding/chartering/operation industry will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
Operations and cargo operations are relatable but separated areas and we are seeking candidates for both the areas
Operations
• Liaise with Vessel / Ship Owner / Port Authority / arrival and departure formality
• Liaise with Brokers, Charterers, Oil Terminal, Surveyors, Suppliers, etc. for bunker call and terminal loading / discharging operation
• Handling / Preparing EPDA/FPDA, voyage calculation
• Issuing of OKTB and letters of invitation
• Handling all Owner’s matters, Mails / Certificates / Document Delivery, Crew Change, etc.
• Maintain records of voyage schedules & booking lists
• Keep records of port disbursement and maintain / updating of vessel’s database
• Book Flight, hotel, arrange transport
• Arrange Medical booking as per requirement
• Updating of the crew information as per requirement
• Applying of the s/on & s/off letters
• Preparing the necessary documents for crew visa application
• Liaise & coordinate with 3rd party manning agencies for the smooth deployment of crew
• Checking the authenticity of the crew COC & GOC with the respective authority
• Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager / Management
Operations-Cargo
• Administer plans for handling and storage of shipments.
• Ensure the handling of hazardous materials or goods is in accordance to safety standards and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
• Interpret and follow safety and security standards for teams.
• Monitor the safe stowage of hazardous materials or goods.
• Perform housekeeping operations and stock control of warehouse cargoes and items.
• Prepare documentations for total number of incoming/outgoing cargoes.
• Support compliance of height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans
• Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping or freight companies
• Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager / Management
