Job Summary:
• Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join our team. The Senior Accounts Officer will be responsible for supporting the financial and accounting functions of the company, including maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, preparing reports, and analyzing financial data to support business decisions. The successful candidate will have a good background in accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Entering the vendor Invoices and discarding reports and GRNs on a daily basis.
• Posting of Current Account and Clearing accounts related transactions.
• Checking and posting of AP credit and debit notes, Discard Reports, Cost of Goods Sold, Inter-Company Sales and Purchases.
• Checking the Internal Usages at the end of each month.
• Entering Inter-Company purchases and set-off batches.
• Passing the debit and credit notes if necessary.
• Monitoring the GRNs on a weekly basis.
• Requesting for the vendor invoices if necessary.
• Monitoring the payables and due invoices while requesting for the approval of POs.
• Entering the JE according to the instruction of seniors.
• Preparing the GL reconciliations of accrued salary and accrued pension accounts on a monthly basis.
• Completing the AP reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Reconciling the related clearing accounts.
• Assisting each month and year end financials.
• Assisting the Accountant for smooth functioning of the tasks.
• Dealing with the necessary parties to assist day to day updating of accounts.
• Managing proper filing system for easy access of data.
• Assisting and reporting to the Financial Controller/Accountant at the end of the day.
• Attending all other accounting related tasks in the absence of the Accountant.
• Maintaining a proper follow up and sustaining the day to day work smoothly.
• Actively participating in trainings and identifying the needs for trainings.
• Follow and adhere to all policies, procedures and key performance indicators and targets endorsed by Villa Trading Pvt Ltd.

Requirements:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
