Qualifications and requirements:
• Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
• Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
• Basic knowledge of labor laws
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communications skills (Dhivehi and English)
• Familiar with Xpat system will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
• Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
• Maintain proper records of foreign staffs Quota Fee, Work permit fee, Insurance and Visas.
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
• Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data
• Prepare and submit documents for renewal of safety certificates, licenses, etc..
• Prepare and submit documents for new work permits and Quota
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
